Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Lahomaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahomaki connects with a crisp jab.
Murilo Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Lahomaki.
Rua throws a head kick that half lands.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lahomaki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lahomaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Lahomaki looks to land a combination but Rua avoids it well.
Lahomaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rua circles away quickly and effectively.

Well Lahomaki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
