Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glover Gilchrist (ranked 6228 p4p, 6316 weight class) and Roland Spliffs (ranked 563 p4p, 567 weight class). Gilchrist's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Steve-O - Hard As A Rock. Spliffs has chosen Smoke Some Weed by Ice Cube as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Spliffs throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gilchrist throws out a powerful jab.
Spliffs moves out of range as Gilchrist strikes.
Gilchrist scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gilchrist tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Spliffs! But no joy.
Spliffs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spliffs takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Spliffs smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

A little jabbing left from Spliffs on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

It seemed like Spliffs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

It seemed like Spliffs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Spliffs thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gilchrist pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Spliffs back to the cage. Gilchrist follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Spliffs ducks right into an uppercut from Gilchrist.
Spliffs is rocked!
Gilchrist lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Spliffs - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Gilchrist!
