Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Claus Haba (ranked 1145 p4p, 23608 weight class) and Hiroshi Papo (ranked 67 p4p, 262 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Claus Haba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Papo! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Haba is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Papo pulls his head out easily. Haba regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Papo. Papo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

A close round but Hiroshi Papo will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! A shot to the liver by Haba. Beautiful body shot. Haba tries to sprawl but Papo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Haba wants to get back to full guard. Haba is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Papo pulls his head out easily. Papo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Papo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We've been hearing good reports from Haba's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Haba sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Papo is trying to control the action in half guard but Haba is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Haba wants to get back to full guard but Papo has mounted him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haba is looking to improve his position but Papo isn't that keen on the idea. Haba bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Haba tries to stand but Papo is controlling from the bottom. Haba wants to stand and escape but instead Papo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Papo trying to control the position from guard on top but Haba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haba is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Haba looking for subs off his back but Papo has passed one foot through into half guard.
Papo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Haba is staying active underneath Papo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Papo lands with a punch from half guard. Papo drops an elbow to the side of Haba's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hiroshi Papo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Papo misses with a takedown attempt and Haba counters with a right hand to the body. Papo takes a body punch but keeps moving. Haba takes the fight into the clinch. Haba pushes Papo back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Haba breaks from the clinch.
Haba stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Haba wants it to stay on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Papo or perhaps it was just good defense by Haba, which made it look bad. Claus Haba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiroshi Papo. Haba jabs Papo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Haba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Papo misses with a takedown attempt - Haba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Papo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Haba is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Papo is aware though and is defending well. Haba avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Haba looking for a triangle here. Papo is fighting it but it looks tight! Haba pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Papo is tapping out - this one is all over!
