Gordon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Axel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Axel looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Axel looks to land a right hand but Gordon moved out of range.
Axel darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Ryan Gordon has been cut.

Axel thuds his right hand into Gordon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Axel lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Gordon up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Axel from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Gordon's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
