Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugues Dupont (ranked 1007 p4p, 1876 weight class) and Bruno Neves (ranked 37 p4p, 72 weight class). Bruno Neves will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Dupont tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Neves manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neves looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Neves working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Dupont is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Neves defends well.

Dupont looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Neves passes into side control.

Dupont is looking to regain half guard here but Neves keeps moving and retains side control.
Dupont manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Dupont stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neves swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Neves wants to sweep here but Dupont controlling him for the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hugues Dupont will probably get the nod.

Dupont tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Neves defends well and Dupont ends up having to push Neves into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dupont walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dupont is looking to clinch.
Dupont shoots in and drives through. Neves sprawls well.
Neves throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dupont stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hugues Dupont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neves scores with a shot to the body.
Neves swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dupont.

Neves lands a big right hand that sends Dupont crashing to the mat! Neves stays standing though and waves Dupont back to his feet!

Dupont is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dupont is holding his hands too far apart here. Neves throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Dupont is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
