Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zac Mirfin (ranked 24608 p4p, 6749 weight class) and Julian Wallace (ranked 269 p4p, 248 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wallace's choice of entrance music: Smile - Jimmy Durante. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Wallace lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wallace with a nice calf kick.
Wallace lands a jab.
Mirfin thows a left - swing and a miss!
A slow jab from Wallace misses its intended target.
Mirfin tries to counter with a takedown but Wallace is quick to defend against it.

Some bone on bone action there as Mirfin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Julian Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallace lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wallace.

Mirfin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wallace as he avoids it easily.

Mirfin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Mirfin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mirfin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wallace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mirfin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mirfin postures up in Wallace's guard and throws a big left but Wallace blocks it.

Mirfin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Wallace in real trouble here! The ref calls for Wallace to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
