Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keenwah Granes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Claes Ragnvaldsson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.

It looks like Keenwah Granes has been cut. Ragnvaldsson throws a head kick but Granes moves out of range.
Granes throws a big shot that misses. Granes shoots in but no luck this time. Ragnvaldsson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Granes feints and then cracks Ragnvaldsson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ragnvaldsson down. Granes looks to score with a jab to the body but Ragnvaldsson is just out of range. Ragnvaldsson slips a jab from Granes. A nice inside leg kick there by Ragnvaldsson. That's going to slow Granes down. No luck for Granes with that takedown attempt. Ragnvaldsson throws a leg kick and Granes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ragnvaldsson won't be happy with that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Granes scores with punches from side control. Ragnvaldsson is looking to reverse the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ragnvaldsson can do anything to dispel that myth. Ragnvaldsson keeps Granes under control for a moment. Granes tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnvaldsson struggling a bit here. Ragnvaldsson is not content to let Granes control the position. You can see the frustration on Ragnvaldsson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Granes is working Ragnvaldsson over with some ground and pound from side control. Ragnvaldsson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Granes in side control lands a decent elbow. Granes moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Granes landing shots from mount. Ragnvaldsson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ragnvaldsson tries to hold on but Granes postures up. Granes prevents Ragnvaldsson from getting the reversal. Ragnvaldsson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Ragnvaldsson working to try and regain half guard.
Granes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Granes landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Granes putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Granes is landing with some decent strikes but Ragnvaldsson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ragnvaldsson wants to control but Granes is having none of it. Granes looking to control but Ragnvaldsson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Granes lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ragnvaldsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Granes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Granes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ragnvaldsson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Granes working Ragnvaldsson over with strikes here. Granes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Granes trying to control but Ragnvaldsson is having none of it. Ragnvaldsson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keenwah Granes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Keenwah Granes's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Granes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ragnvaldsson. Granes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ragnvaldsson can do to turn this around? Granes shoots and misses and Ragnvaldsson counters with a nice uppercut. Granes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ragnvaldsson was well out of range. Poor timing from Granes. Granes lands the left hand. Granes scores with a punch to the head. Ragnvaldsson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Granes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ragnvaldsson throws a push kick but Granes slaps the foot to one side. Ragnvaldsson throws a series of punches but Granes avoids them all with ease. Granes walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Granes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ragnvaldsson manages to avoid it. Some wild striking there from Ragnvaldsson.
Granes feinted with a counter takedown. Ragnvaldsson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnvaldsson avoids the body shot from Granes.
Granes misses with a lunging right hand
and Ragnvaldsson counters with a body kick that stops Granes in his tracks momentarily. Ragnvaldsson takes a swing at Granes's ribcage but misses. Ragnvaldsson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ragnvaldsson closes the distance and clinches. Granes misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ragnvaldsson.
Ragnvaldsson lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ragnvaldsson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ragnvaldsson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ragnvaldsson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A head kick from Ragnvaldsson lands but Granes takes it in his stride. Granes thuds a left hand into Ragnvaldsson's body. Granes throws a leg kick but Ragnvaldsson moved away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Ragnvaldsson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Granes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ragnvaldsson moves into the clinch. Granes is trying to push Ragnvaldsson away but Ragnvaldsson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ragnvaldsson decides to pull guard. Granes drops back looking for a leg! Ragnvaldsson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ragnvaldsson manages to kick Granes off! Granes jumps back into Ragnvaldsson's guard. Granes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Granes passes easily into side control. Nice work. Granes prevents Ragnvaldsson from escaping the position. Granes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ragnvaldsson keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnvaldsson trying to control but Granes flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Ragnvaldsson wants to get back to his feet. Granes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ragnvaldsson trying to control the action but Granes just sinks the hooks in. Granes struggling to keep hold of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ragnvaldsson is trying to stand back up. Ragnvaldsson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Granes tightening his grip on Ragnvaldsson, looking for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Granes lands shots from the back. Ragnvaldsson trying to get back to his feet but Granes is in full control for now. Granes scores with punches and elbows. Granes is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ragnvaldsson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ragnvaldsson for a finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Keenwah Granes will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Keenwah Granes's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Granes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Keenwah Granes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ragnvaldsson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Granes ducks under a wild hook from Ragnvaldsson. Ragnvaldsson misses with the combination.
Granes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ragnvaldsson tries to avoid it but Granes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ragnvaldsson to the ground. Ragnvaldsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ragnvaldsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Granes. Ragnvaldsson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Granes dives in and grabs Ragnvaldsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ragnvaldsson pushes down on Granes's head and hops out. Granes misses with a low kick as Ragnvaldsson jumps back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Granes tries to keep at a distance but Ragnvaldsson has taken the fight into the clinch. Granes blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ragnvaldsson manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Granes fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ragnvaldsson on the side of the head. Granes attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ragnvaldsson tries to clinch but Granes is having none of it. Granes tries to counter with a takedown but Ragnvaldsson is quick to defend against it. Granes wants to land a leg kick but Ragnvaldsson is out of range. Ragnvaldsson throws a right and a left that both miss. Granes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fighters circling - Granes throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Granes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ragnvaldsson keeps Granes at a distance using the push kick. Granes misses the jab. Claes Ragnvaldsson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick misses from Ragnvaldsson. Granes half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Ragnvaldsson throws a head kick that half lands.
Ragnvaldsson feints a jab promting Granes to slip. Ragnvaldsson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Granes slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ragnvaldsson slips under a jab from Granes. Keenwah Granes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Granes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Granes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ragnvaldsson. Ragnvaldsson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Granes is rocked! Ragnvaldsson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Granes. That did some damage! Oh Granes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ragnvaldsson digs a good hook to Granes's body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ragnvaldsson catches Granes with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Granes forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Claes Ragnvaldsson! Claes Ragnvaldsson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Chester logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. Keenwah Granes was interviewed post fight and said 'No worries. Everyone here knows my opponent has a bad habit of testing positive for PEDs, so I'm sure this fight will soon be ruled a 'No Contest' by the Athletic Commission.'.
