Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Armand Hammer (ranked 868 p4p, 2160 weight class) and Death Minister (ranked 114 p4p, 262 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hammer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hammer Time. Minister has chosen Rhapsody of Fire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Armand Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Death Minister!

Hammer ducks under a wild hook from Minister.
The fighters circling - Hammer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A swing and a miss from Minister.
Hammer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Minister has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hammer is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Minister lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Minister connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Armand Hammer has been cut.
Minister uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hammer.
Hammer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Minister counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammer ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Minister goes for a small jab and connects. Now Minister goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Hammer stumbles back but Minister runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Hammer to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Hammer will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Death Minister!
