Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Glotsby (ranked 3905 p4p, 4463 weight class) and Cliff Andrews (ranked 369 p4p, 400 weight class). Glotsby's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Another one bites the dust. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cliff Andrews!

and Glotsby counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andrews wants to stand and escape but Glotsby is having none of it.

Glotsby wants to work for an arm triangle but Andrews is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Glotsby is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andrews is just riding it out for now. Glotsby eventually gives up the hold.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Glotsby in particular looking to stall.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Glotsby drops back looking for a leg! Andrews is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andrews manages to kick Glotsby off! Glotsby jumps back into Andrews's guard.

Andrews wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Glotsby is looking to take a break and control but Andrews is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Glotsby goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Andrews rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Glotsby's guard! Nice work there by Andrews!

Glotsby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andrews gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Glotsby lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Glotsby wants to control from the top but Andrews keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Glotsby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Glotsby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Andrews was covering up waiting for the punch and Glotsby finishes the takedown easily into guard.
