Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Dunkley (ranked 952 p4p, 745 weight class) and Rene Lafayette (ranked 151 p4p, 122 weight class). Lafayette is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Erasure - Always. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lafayette looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lafayette fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dunkley manages to avoid it.
Lafayette tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dunkley defends well and Lafayette ends up having to push Dunkley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Lafayette counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dunkley wants to get back to his feet but Lafayette passes into half guard.
