Pinales checks the leg kick nicely there.
Anthony scores with a nice strike.
Anthony looks to land a combination but Pinales avoids it well.
Anthony throws a hook but Pinales blocks it.
Anthony misses with a wild body shot.
Pinales drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Anthony defends it well.
Pinales moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Javier Pinales has been cut.
A jab lands there for Anthony.
Anthony swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pinales counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anthony wants to get back to his feet but Pinales is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pinales is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Anthony pulls Pinales in close to his closed guard and prevents Pinales from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pinales drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pinales as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Anthony screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pinales! Nice submission victory there!

Javier Pinales is the new welterweight champion!
Javier Pinales decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
