Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Disco Kid (ranked 208 p4p, 182 weight class) and Esteban San Pedro (ranked 25 p4p, 20 weight class). Kid's entrance music is Wu Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck. A fine choice. San Pedro has chosen Gunman as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I was talking to Kid's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Disco Kid overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
San Pedro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Let's hope that San Pedro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Esteban San Pedro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well San Pedro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
