Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Carpenter (ranked 3073 p4p, 24283 weight class) and Tyson Hunt (ranked 338 p4p, 567 weight class). Mike Carpenter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tyson Hunt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Carpenter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyson Hunt! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carpenter swings for the body but Hunt moves out of range.
Carpenter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Carpenter closes the distance and clinches. Hunt tries to break free but Carpenter pushes him back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Carpenter scores with a nice short uppercut. Carpenter has hold of one of Hunt's legs. Hunt is fighting the takedown attempt but Carpenter gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Carpenter showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Carpenter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carpenter landing with the ground and pound. Carpenter is in close to Hunt's body, working some short punches and elbows. Carpenter distracts Hunt with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Carpenter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've been hearing that Carpenter has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carpenter postures up and lands a big shot to Hunt's brow. Hunt looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carpenter is stalling in the full guard. Hunt is looking for a triangle but Carpenter pushes his legs off easily.
Carpenter cracks Hunt with a solid left hand. Carpenter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Carpenter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt is looking for a triangle here but Carpenter uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Carpenter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunt on the ground. Hunt is trying to improve his position. Hunt seems a little lost for a moment, as Carpenter dominates the positioning. Carpenter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hunt some visible discomfort.
Carpenter controlling from side mount. Hunt is trying to get back to half guard. The referee asks Carpenter politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Carpenter prefers to stall for the moment though. Check out the look on Carpenter's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt manages to get back to half guard. Carpenter is controlling the pace.
Hunt tries to roll over but Carpenter keeps him under control. Carpenter controlling the pace. Carpenter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Carpenter working Hunt over with strikes. Carpenter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Hunt is rocked! Carpenter lands a big elbow - Hunt is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Carpenter!
