Trumpet slips under a jab from Alcala.
A little jabbing left from Trumpet on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Alcala throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Alcala has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Alcala cracks Trumpet with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Trumpet looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Alcala finish him?

Trumpet shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Alcala has his hands clasped together around Trumpet's back. He's all about the action.

Alcala throws a combination. Trumpet tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Alcala avoids the body shot from Trumpet.
Alcala cracks Trumpet with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Alcala uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Trumpet.

A quick step to the side and Alcala tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alcala is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trumpet can do to turn this around?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alcala drops Trumpet with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Trumpet looks back up at him and smiles so Alcala waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Trumpet is still on wobbly legs! Can Alcala finish him?
Alcala really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trumpet walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Alcala! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
