Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Ruas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwame Moto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruas comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction. Moto has chosen Tupac_Hit em' up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Marco Ruas has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruas throws an overhand right that lands on Moto's shoulder, as Moto tries to avoid the shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ruas.
Ruas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ruas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ruas throws a head kick that misses.

and Ruas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moto won't be happy with that.

Ruas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moto sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ruas stands up over Moto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Moto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ruas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Moto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kwame Moto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Moto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ruas's guard.
Moto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ruas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moto tries to avoid it but Ruas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moto to the ground. Moto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Moto moves into range and clinches up with Ruas.
Ruas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moto has him pressed against the cage.
Moto lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ruas backwards.
A short body shot lands from Moto as the two fighters clinch.
Moto lands a nice shot to the body.
Moto can't get the takedown.

Ruas is fighting off a takedown attempt but Moto is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ruas to the mat. Ruas regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
