Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Horse (ranked 1398 p4p, 2096 weight class) and Ronaldo Souza (ranked 186 p4p, 270 weight class). Ronaldo Souza told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.

Horse darts in and clinches Souza up against the cage.
Souza has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Horse is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Souza drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Horse gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Horse lands a left hand that snaps the head of Souza backwards.
Souza tries for a takedown. No joy.
Crazy Horse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo Souza.
Horse scores with a nice hook to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Horse.
Souza has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Horse avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Horse throws a series of punches but Souza moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Horse.

Souza throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Horse blocks it with crossed arms.

Crazy Horse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Horse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Horse jabs Souza to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Souza misses with the body kick
letting Horse counter with a right hand.
Horse's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Horse duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Souza takes one to the chin there.
Horse lands with a cross.
Souza is rocked!
Horse scores with a sloppy right hand. Souza should have avoided that one.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Horse finish him?
and Horse counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Souza! He's just covering up as Horse starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crazy Horse!
Crazy Horse decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
