Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manoel Moicano (ranked 2595 p4p, 1614 weight class) and Ran Ran (ranked 313 p4p, 208 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Manoel Moicano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ran Ran!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.

Moicano moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Manoel Moicano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moicano ducks under a wild hook from Ran.
A clash of legs there as Ran blocks the low kick.
Moicano throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ran's head.
Ran has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Moicano fakes the leg kick and cracks Ran in the body.
Moicano throws a head kick but Ran moves out of range.
Ran let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Moicano buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Moicano. Ran shrugs it off though.
Moicano misses with a straight left.
Ran steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Moicano. That one must have hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moicano misses with a body kick.
Moicano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ran misses with an uppercut.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Moicano.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moicano avoids the body shot from Ran.
Moicano throws a nice head kick!
Moicano scores with a decent looking hook.
Ran throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice leg kick from Moicano, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ran walks forward, straight into a front kick from Moicano.
Moicano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ran was well out of range. Poor timing from Moicano.
Ran jabs at Moicano's body.
Ran fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Moicano throws a nice outside leg kick.
Moicano gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ran takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ran fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Moicano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ran! But no joy.
Moicano throws a body shot but no joy.
Moicano slips under a jab from Ran.
Ran drops Moicano with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Moicano looks back up at him and smiles so Ran waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Moicano is rocked!

Oh Moicano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ran lands with a good body shot.
Moicano is breathing heavily.
Moicano walks straight into a right hand from Ran - that's dropped him! Ran jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Moicano from any more punishment! Moicano complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ran Ran!
Ran Ran decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
