Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yonglong Li (ranked 1343 p4p, 946 weight class) and Willie Wood (ranked 206 p4p, 146 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Yonglong Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willie Wood!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Wood throws a big shot that misses.
Li swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Li throws out a loose jab but Wood uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wood slips a straight right by Li.
A little jabbing left from Wood on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wood has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Oooooh!!! Wood has knocked Li down with a huge combo! Wood steps away and waves a wobbly Li back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Li is rocked!
It looks like Yonglong Li has been cut.
Li drops his hands momentarily. Wood doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Li staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Li doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Willie Wood!
After winning the bout, Willie Wood thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
