Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jean Yves Theriault (ranked 5853 p4p, 5607 weight class) and Nelson Junior (ranked 93 p4p, 81 weight class). Theriault's entrance music is Klendathu drop. A fine choice. Jean Yves Theriault has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Theriault throws a looping overhand right but Junior ducks down to avoid it.
Junior throws the left hand but Theriault avoids the punch easily.
A low kick lands for Junior.

Junior fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Theriault has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Theriault clips Junior with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Junior a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Junior buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Junior has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Junior connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Theriault momentarily.

Theriault connects with a good right hand that stumbles Junior. Junior circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Theriault ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Junior walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
