Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 1865 p4p, 3749 weight class) and Bruno Santos (ranked 253 p4p, 467 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hannibal Lecter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Santos!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

Lecter jabs Santos right on the nose. Santos blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Bruno Santos has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Lecter. That snapped Santos's head back.
Lecter lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Santos blocks the body kick.
Santos changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Santos darts in looking for a takedown but Lecter gets double underhooks and turns Santos into the cage.
Lecter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Santos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Santos is standing up over Lecter. Lecter looks to escape but Santos dives into side control.
Lecter's coaches at Legendary MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lecter is trying to get back to his feet.
Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lecter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lecter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Santos asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Santos tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santos prevents Lecter from escaping the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lecter is looking to get back to his feet here but Santos is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lecter's back.
Lecter is trying to stand back up.
Santos has managed to slip his arm under Lecter's chin. This could be all over... yep, Lecter is tapping out! Submission win for Santos.
