Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcos Sanchez !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Vuce!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vuce counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A jab from Sanchez does it's job there.
Sanchez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vuce takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sanchez misses with a lunging right hand
and Vuce counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sanchez throws a leg kick that is checked
and Vuce connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sanchez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sanchez lands with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez drops Vuce with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sanchez follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcos Sanchez !
