Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kagekatsu Uesugi (ranked 195 p4p, 494 weight class) and Coral Sea (ranked 25 p4p, 60 weight class). Sea is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: For Heavy Metal we will die!. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kagekatsu Uesugi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Coral Sea!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uesugi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sea shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sea throws a jab but it's blocked by Uesugi.

Sea bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sea tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sea has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Sea has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Uesugi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sea is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Uesugi pulls down on the head and he's put Sea to sleep! This one is all over!
