PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Kenway (ranked 1038 p4p, 312 weight class) and Harvey Stallion (ranked 130 p4p, 36 weight class). Stallion is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Riding on the horses by Daryl Braithwaite . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 51 - 22 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Kenway!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Harvey Stallion!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Glass.

Stallion has Kenway pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stallion pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kenway tumbling to the mat - Stallion dives into Kenway's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kenway with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stallion to score with a decent uppercut.

Stallion has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kenway clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Even with his hooks in, Stallion manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Stallion working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Kenway is doing well to defend. Stallion seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Kenway is forced to tap and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 5, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harvey Stallion!

A relieved looking Harvey Stallion thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
