PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eldar Fudd (ranked 969 p4p, 2652 weight class) and Leonidas Kellogg (ranked 147 p4p, 349 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eldar Fudd!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonidas Kellogg!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.

Leonidas Kellogg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Fudd counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fudd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kellogg can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fudd has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kellogg's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fudd sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

It looks like Leonidas Kellogg has been cut.
Fudd breaks from Kellogg's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fudd looking to control but Kellogg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Fudd lands a nice shot to the head.

That has opened up Leonidas Kellogg's cut even more.
Fudd tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leonidas Kellogg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Eldar Fudd tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
