Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deair Shaw (ranked 4816 p4p, 4923 weight class) and Josh Dro (ranked 502 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Deair Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Dro! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw throws a half hearted mid kick. As Shaw backs off Dro throws a huge counter combo but Shaw manages to avoid it all. Shaw drives through and clinches with Dro against the cage.
Shaw tries to break free but Dro pushes him back against the cage. Dro breaks the clinch.

Shaw leaves Dro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Shaw closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dro struggles to land a body shot inside as Shaw controls his hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dro lands a shoulder strike. Dro tries to throw a body punch but Shaw avoids it by throwing Dro back against the cage. Shaw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shaw. Shaw throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Shaw stands and steps away. Dro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw scores with a push kick. Shaw dives in and grabs Dro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dro pushes down on Shaw's head and hops out. Shaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dro's waist but Dro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shaw off to one side. Shaw instigates a clinch. Dro looking for a takedown. Deair Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Dro. Dro tries for a takedown but Shaw manages to get underhooks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dro swings wildly with an uppercut but Shaw uses good head movement to avoid it. Dro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dro tries to stall but Shaw uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Shaw jumps guard but Dro stands there with Shaw around his waist. Shaw gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

It looks like Josh Dro has been cut. Dro takes a shot right to the bread basket. Shaw tried to score with a low kick but Dro checks it.

Dro replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Shaw blocks it well. Shaw tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dro swivels and escapes. Dro takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dro moves out of range as Shaw throws a body kick.
Dro rushes Shaw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dro gets control of Shaw's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dro looking to control.

Shaw misses with a body kick. Shaw could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Deair Shaw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shaw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dro manages to avoid it. Shaw is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dro can do to turn this around? Dro swats away the attempt to clinch by Shaw. Dro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. It looked like Shaw was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Dro fails with the takedown. Shaw tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dro defends well and Shaw ends up having to push Dro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dro throws a counter combo. Dro fails with a takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shaw shoots for a double leg takedown but Dro sprawls well. He's pushed Shaw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Dro throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Shaw. Shaw tries to clinch but Dro moves out of range. Dro blocks the body kick.
Dro dives in for a single leg takedown but Shaw sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Shaw darts in and clinches Dro up against the cage. Shaw tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dro jumps guard but Shaw stands there with Dro around his waist. Dro gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
