PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Seehaver (ranked 2508 p4p, 1276 weight class) and Uri Gellar (ranked 300 p4p, 165 weight class). Gellar has chosen James Randi exposes Uri Geller as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Seehaver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uri Gellar!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

Gellar thows a leg kick but Seehaver checks it

and Seehaver counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Seehaver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Seehaver prevents Gellar from standing back up.
Seehaver keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Seehaver has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Seehaver is looking for a kimura but Gellar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Seehaver to get the leverage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gellar wants to improve his position but Seehaver is controlling well.

Seehaver wants to work for an arm triangle but Gellar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gellar looks to score with a jab to the body but Seehaver is just out of range.

Seehaver shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gellar sprawls well. Gellar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Seehaver gets slowly back to his feet.

Seehaver throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gellar's waist but Gellar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Seehaver off to one side.

Gellar lands a big right hand that drops Seehaver! The killer instinct kicks in and Gellar finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Gellar!
