Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Harris (ranked 4897 p4p, 4920 weight class) and Mike Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frankie Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hall! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall staying out of range there. Harris scores with a hook to the body. Hall takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Harris throws a big shot that misses. Harris throws a hook to the side of Hall's head but Hall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hall shoots for a double leg takedown but Harris sprawls well. He's pushed Hall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hall keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris. Hall shoots in but no luck this time. Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harris.
Harris scores with a jab. Hall acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet. Frankie Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hall. Harris throws a hook but Hall blocks it. Hall misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harris drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hall sprawls and moves away. Frankie Harris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris gets tackled into the cage by Hall. Hall maintains the clinch. Harris pulls Hall into guard.

Hall works his way into side control. Hall slows the pace down. Hall stands up. Hall forces Harris back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hall just stands there and leans against the cage. Hall misses with an elbow over the top. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Harris tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hall is looking to take this one to the mat. Harris is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Hall drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Harris gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Harris is trying to force a seperation but Hall has the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is trying to pull guard but Hall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Harris tries to pull guard but Hall won't allow it.
Harris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Harris is trying to break the clinch but Hall has him pressed against the cage. Hall breaks from the clinch.
Harris fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hall fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harris connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hall scrambles back to his feet. Harris works the jab nicely. Harris cracks a nice hook into Hall's ribs. Hall defending well as Harris loads up on a big left hand. Harris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall on the wrong end of a nice hook. Harris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hall was well out of range. Poor timing from Harris. Harris lands the left hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harris.
Hall is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Hall shoots in looking for a takedown but Harris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A shot to the liver by Harris. Beautiful body shot. Hall looks winded! Harris connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hall scores with a shot to the body.
Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet. A counter left hand to the body from Harris misses its target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frankie Harris dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Hall takes one to the chin there. Hall avoids the body shot from Harris.
A telegraphed right hand from Harris misses the target. Harris stuffs the takedown attempt from Hall. Hall gets slowly back to his feet. Hall tries for a takedown but Harris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harris connects with a looping right hand.

Harris wants to control but Hall is keeping him busy. Harris wants to stand but Hall is controlling his arm. Hall manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hall is trying to get back to full guard. Hall is not content to let Harris control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard. Harris throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Harris wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hall moves away. Hall misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harris lands a right hook to the body.

Hall wants to counter the offense by Harris and move into the clinch position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.
Harris misses with a hook. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hall! But no joy. Harris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hall avoids the body shot from Harris.
Harris throws the left hand but Hall avoids the punch easily. Frankie Harris is winning the standup battle so far. Hall uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Harris. Hall tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.
Hall closes the distance and clinches. Harris has Hall pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hall manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Harris has hold of one of Hall's legs. Hall is fighting the takedown attempt but Harris gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Hall has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Harris is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Harris tries to break the clinch but Hall is controlling the position. Hall has Harris pressed against the cage, preventing Harris from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frankie Harris dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Harris throws a lazy uppercut
and Hall counters with a two punch combo. Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but Hall is just out of range. Harris misses the jab. Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hall moves away. Harris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hall fails with the takedown and Harris counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harris sprawls well. Harris wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hall gets slowly back to his feet. Hall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jab by Harris.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick from Hall lands but Harris takes it in his stride. Harris scores with a shot to the body.
Harris looks to land a right hand but Hall moved out of range. Hall wants to clinch but Harris slips to the side and Harris counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nice uppercut lands for Harris. That snapped Hall's head back.
Harris swings for the body but Hall moves out of range.
Hall closes the distance and clinches. Harris tries to circle away but Hall has him pinned against the cage. Hall is looking to control Harris's arms but Harris gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hall has his back to the cage. Harris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hall pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris stalling.
Harris looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hall lands a body punch. Hall's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Harris prevents the takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hall.

Hall looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hall throws a big right hand that misses. Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harris is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Harris is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Harris working a defensive guard but Hall manages to pass into side control anyway.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall stands up. Hall fails with the takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hall throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Mike Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mike Hall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harris throws a hook but Hall blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Frankie Harris showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
