Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Penl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mezar Mynzek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mynzek looks to land a combination but Penl avoids it well.

Mynzek drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mynzek jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Penl goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mynzek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Penl's waist but Penl gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mynzek off to one side.

Penl is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mynzek asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mynzek jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Penl walks away with a smile on his face. Mynzek gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
