Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ashwin Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Kownacki! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kownacki lands with a good body shot. Tyson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kownacki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tyson misses with a wild body shot. Kownacki misses with a series of wild punches.
Kownacki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Tyson works Kownacki's body with a nice hook. Tyson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kownacki moves away from the strike by Tyson. Despite the aggression on Kownacki's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Good standup being displayed there by Tyson as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Mike Kownacki has been cut. Tyson misses with a left hand and Kownacki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kownacki throws a right hand that Tyson ducks under and follows up with a left that Tyson also avoids with ease. A looping hook to the body misses from Kownacki. Tyson does a little dance to reset his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tyson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kownacki. Kownacki takes a swing at Tyson's ribcage but misses. Kownacki takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kownacki looks winded! Tyson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kownacki.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kownacki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tyson. Tyson obviously looking to wear him down.
Tyson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kownacki sprawling to the canvas! Kownacki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tyson finish him?!
Kownacki is rocked! Tyson circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Kownacki tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Tyson wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ashwin Tyson! An out of breath and clearly excited Ashwin Tyson thanked Brooklyn Apothecary for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him). The defeated Mike Kownacki had this to say: 'Sorry all fans for losing. Watch me next time !'.
