This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Bob Brown! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Richmond Belvedere!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Belvedere. Belvedere gets slowly back to his feet.
Bob Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Belvedere closes the distance and clinches.
Brown jumps guard but Belvedere stands there with Brown around his waist. Brown gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Brown tries to pull guard but Belvedere forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Belvedere successfully pulls guard.
Brown is pushing down on Belvedere's leg trying to pass to half guard. Belvedere is fighting to maintain full guard but Brown has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belvedere has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Belvedere's legs - danger averted.

We've been hearing good reports from Brown's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
