Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suzaku Kururugi (ranked 5191 p4p, 4862 weight class) and Manuel Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suzaku Kururugi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manuel Collins!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

Kururugi lands with a nice body kick.
Kururugi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A little jabbing left from Collins on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kururugi connects with a body shot that sends Collins's belly button to the back.
A lazy left from Kururugi finds it's target.
Kururugi thows a body kick. Collins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kururugi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kururugi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Collins's sensitive parts.
Kururugi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Collins manages to avoid it.
Collins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kururugi connects with a right hand. Collins shakes it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Collins takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kururugi looks to land a combination. Collins sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kururugi misses with a low kick.
Suzaku Kururugi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Collins walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kururugi.
Collins tries to clinch up but Kururugi circles away and keeps his distance.

Collins drives through with a takedown into guard.
Collins trying to control the position from guard on top but Kururugi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kururugi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Collins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Kururugi is working an open guard so Collins takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kururugi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Collins's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Collins gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kururugi.
Collins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kururugi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kururugi.

Collins rushes Kururugi and presses him up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Kururugi fails to land.

Collins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Collins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kururugi counters with a nice uppercut.
Kururugi lands with a shot to the body.
Kururugi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Collins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kururugi defends it nicely.
Collins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kururugi swings for the body but Collins moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Collins is defended easily by Kururugi.
Suzaku Kururugi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manuel Collins.
Kururugi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kururugi tests Collins's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kururugi blocks a head kick by Collins.

Collins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kururugi's guard.

Collins decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kururugi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kururugi wants it to stay on the feet.
Kururugi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kururugi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Collins circles away quickly and effectively.
Collins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kururugi is fending him off so far but Collins persists. Nope, Kururugi circles away and we're back to standing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kururugi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Kururugi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Suzaku Kururugi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kururugi throws a right and a left that Collins avoids nicely.
Collins lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kururugi lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kururugi scores with a decent looking hook.
Kururugi thows a body kick. Collins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Collins looks winded!
Kururugi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kururugi lands a right hook to the body.
Kururugi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Collins takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kururugi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Collins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Collins has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Kururugi.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kururugi stalks Collins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Collins's face. Collins staggers backwards, shaken.

Collins is rocked!
Collins is looking to clinch.
Collins is still on wobbly legs! Can Kururugi finish him?
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kururugi.
Kururugi lands a slapping body shot.
Kururugi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suzaku Kururugi dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kururugi throws a front kick that sends Collins stumbling back into the cage.
Kururugi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kururugi scores with a kick to the midsection.
Collins seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters circle, before Kururugi throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Collins's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kururugi lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Suzaku Kururugi!
A less than humble Suzaku Kururugi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
