Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Mulligan (ranked 2834 p4p, 6126 weight class) and Deair Shaw (ranked 338 p4p, 567 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Shaw ducks under a wild hook from Mulligan.
Mulligan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shaw's head.

Shaw's coach down at Triple XXX was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shaw's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Shaw drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mulligan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Mulligan lands a big head kick that sends Shaw tumbling to the mat! Mulligan takes a step backwards and waves Shaw back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Shaw shoots in for a takedown but Mulligan shows good takedown defense.
Mulligan looks to land a combination but Shaw avoids it well.
Mulligan sets himself, and Shaw steps forward looking for the clinch! Mulligan avoids it this time.
Mulligan drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Shaw right on the button. Shaw goes down! Mulligan follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mulligan gets the win via TKO!
