Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikki Minami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furio Giunta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giunta has chosen The Godfather Theme - Fantomas as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Furio Giunta was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ikki Minami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Furio Giunta!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minami takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Giunta scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Minami shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Giunta as he jumps to the side.
Minami fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Giunta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Giunta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Giunta digs a good hook to Minami's body.
Minami is breathing heavily.
Minami will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ikki Minami. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Giunta goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Ikki Minami has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Minami slips under a jab.
Giunta lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Minami is looking to close the distance but Giunta sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Minami crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Minami is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
