Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dustin Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rambo Lake !
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.

Lake tries to sprawl but Hopkins drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Lake pushes Hopkins off and gets back to his feet.
Lake stalks Hopkins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hopkins's face. Hopkins staggers backwards, shaken.

Hopkins moves into range and clinches up with Lake .
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hopkins has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lake clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Lake is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Hopkins off. It looks like it's working - Hopkins slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Lake displaying calm under pressure there.
Hopkins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lake defends it nicely.

Hopkins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lake was covering up waiting for the punch and Hopkins finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lake can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lake is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hopkins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lake is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hopkins is aware though and is defending well.

Lake manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hopkins manages to get himself to full guard.

Hopkins is pulling down on Lake 's head. It's preventing any offense from Lake , at least for the moment.

Hopkins is looking to stand up but Lake isn't so interested in that idea.
Hopkins seems keen to control Lake 's posture.
Hopkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hopkins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

A close round but Rambo Lake will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lake tries for a takedown but Hopkins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hopkins has gone for a leg lock! Lake slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hopkins's guard.

Hopkins pulls Lake in close to prevent any damage.

Hopkins is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lake frees his head nicely. Oh but Hopkins has switched to an armbar! Lake is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
