Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mario Thomas (ranked 4579 p4p, 4562 weight class) and Da Two (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mario Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Da Two! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

Two looks to land a left hand but Thomas moved out of range nicely. As Two looks to move away, Thomas throws a big counter combo but Two just gets out of the way. A telegraphed right hand from Two misses the target. Thomas swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Thomas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Thomas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Thomas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Two has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Thomas wants to stand but Two is controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Two connects with a crisp jab. Thomas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Two looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Two is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Thomas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Two throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Thomas is taking a breather. Two says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Thomas postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Two to stand up. Thomas feints and as Two raises his hands in defense, Thomas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Two trying to strike off his back.

Thomas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Two tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Left hook, right uppercut from Thomas. Thomas throws a series of punches but Two moves out of range. Thomas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Two was covering up waiting for the punch and Thomas finishes the takedown easily into guard. Thomas stands up from Two's guard - Thomas perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thomas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thomas sitting and controlling from the half guard. Thomas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Thomas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mario Thomas's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Thomas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Two.

A looping hook to the body misses from Two. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice jab there from Two. Two slips a jab and a cross from Thomas.
Two looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Thomas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Two can do to turn this around? Thomas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Two pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Thomas back to the cage. Two follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Thomas scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Da Two seems to be getting the better of the standup. Thomas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thomas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Thomas lands in his opponent's guard. Two throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Two swinging wildly here.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Two gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thomas to score an easy takedown into full guard. Two is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Thomas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Two has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thomas has managed to get both his arms back between Two's legs - danger averted.
