Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between te Tre (ranked 240 p4p, 613 weight class) and Ivan Krylov (ranked 35 p4p, 100 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that te Tre has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily te Tre seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, te Tre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivan Krylov! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Krylov shoots for a takedown but Tre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tre swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Krylov with a poor takedown and Tre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Krylov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Krylov prevents Tre from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krylov passes into half guard. Krylov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krylov is trying to control. Tre wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Krylov wants to pass the guard but Tre is defending well. Krylov wants to control but Tre is keeping him busy. That's one minute gone in the round. Tre is looking to escape. Krylov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Tre is trying to stand up here but Krylov is controlling him well. Krylov sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krylov slips a nice elbow through Tre's hands, connecting with Tre's forehead. Krylov controlling the action here. Let's hope that Krylov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Krylov working his ground and pound in the gym. Krylov scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tre's head. Tre tries to kick Krylov off but Krylov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Krylov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Tre pushes Krylov off looking to stand but Krylov dives back in and keeps control.
Tre on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tre tries to get out of the position. Krylov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Krylov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tre looks like he's trying to stand up.
Krylov wants to free his trapped foot but Tre is holding on for dear life with his legs. Krylov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Krylov is looking to advance position but Tre won't allow it. Tre is trying to stand back up but Krylov is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krylov uses his free foot to push down on Tre's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tre. Krylov lands a big shot there that rocks Tre but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
