Silva has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Line.
Line lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Silva backs up against the cage.
It looks like Patricio Silva has been cut.
Line throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Line tests Silva's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Line comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gustav Line seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Line lands with a nice body punch.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Line lands a hook that stumbles Silva back into the cage. Line follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Silva to the canvas! Line pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Silva has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Gustav Line!
After the fight, Gustav Line was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
