El Shabazz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baker's hands.
El Shabazz misses with a looping right.
Malik El Shabazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Baker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck El Shabazz on the side of the head.
El Shabazz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baker manages to avoid it.

El Shabazz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Baker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Baker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Baker there as he acknowledges the shot.

Baker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baker is pressing down on El Shabazz's thigh, looking to free his foot. El Shabazz is holding on for now.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Baker working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
