Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Omnikov (ranked 6828 p4p, 25018 weight class) and Maxwell Hollins (ranked 0 p4p, 604 weight class). Hollins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Omnikov pinned against the cage. Omnikov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Omnikov tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hollins manages to circle out of the way.

We've been hearing good reports from Omnikov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Hollins swings around for an armbar but Omnikov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hollins's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hollins can do anything to dispel that myth.
