Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Iommi (ranked 4660 p4p, 5320 weight class) and Nathan Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iommi comes to the cage accompanied by Into The Void. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.

Iommi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Iommi drives through and clinches with Parker against the cage.

Parker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Parker is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Iommi has denied him.
Iommi crunches a lovely knee into Parker's ribcage.

Parker throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iommi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Iommi has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted.
Iommi throws an elbow that misses. Parker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Iommi's guard. Nice move by Parker!
Iommi wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment.

Parker wants to control from the top but Iommi keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Parker passes Iommi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Parker has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Iommi defend it? Parker steps over the head and cranks it - Iommi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Parker!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nathan Parker!
