Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Marius Wieneke (ranked 3934 p4p, 22434 weight class) and Zacharias Kassicus (ranked 413 p4p, 567 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wieneke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Satyricon - K.I.N.G . Marius Wieneke has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Wieneke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kassicus works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wieneke lands a glancing blow to the side of Kassicus's head.
Wieneke throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kassicus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A slow jab from Kassicus misses its intended target.

Wieneke tries to close the distance and clinch but Kassicus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sloppy strikes from Wieneke. Those never looked like landing.
Wieneke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wieneke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kassicus throws out a counter right but Wieneke avoids it with no problem.
Kassicus tries to keep at a distance but Wieneke has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wieneke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kassicus, as that shot connected.
No joy there for Wieneke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wieneke wants to clinch.
Kassicus throws a looping overhand right but Wieneke ducks down to avoid it.

Wieneke wants to clinch up but Kassicus keeps it at a distance.
Nice defenses there by Wieneke.
Wieneke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kassicus circles away quickly and effectively.
Wieneke takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wieneke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kassicus throws a body shot but no joy.
Nice uppercut lands for Kassicus. That snapped Wieneke's head back.

and Wieneke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zacharias Kassicus seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kassicus ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Wieneke out cold! The fight is over!
