Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Hoetep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tapater Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoetep kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Viva Las Vegas. Rua has chosen Hordes Of Chaos as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tapater Rua was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Rua.
It looks like Bubba Hoetep has been cut.
Hoetep misses with a head kick.
Rua shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rua was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hoetep is bucking up trying to escape but Rua cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Hoetep is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big strike lands for Rua! That's really hurt Hoetep and he's turned his back - Rua keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Rua Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tapater Rua!
