Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sagan (ranked 24202 p4p, 6996 weight class) and Mengrire Krenakore (ranked 600 p4p, 595 weight class). Mengrire Krenakore will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mengrire Krenakore!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

Krenakore has managed to clinch.
Krenakore keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sagan's efforts to push away.
Sagan looking to throw knees to the head but Krenakore is blocking nicely.
Krenakore escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mengrire Krenakore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sagan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Krenakore but Krenakore pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Krenakore appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Sagan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Sagan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Krenakore to keep the fight standing.

Krenakore scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sagan doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Sagan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Krenakore catches Sagan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sagan switches off momentarily and Krenakore cracks him with a monster right hand! Sagan topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Krenakore dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Krenakore!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mengrire Krenakore!
A relieved looking Mengrire Krenakore thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
