Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matt Wallace (ranked 5615 p4p, 3364 weight class) and Youssef Bennani (ranked 224 p4p, 176 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Wallace ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Youssef Bennani! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.

and Wallace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wallace gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bennani counters with a nice uppercut. Bennani misses with a double jab.
Wallace looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bennani clobbers Wallace with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bennani scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wallace in his tracks. Bennani cracks Wallace with an open hand slap. A left and a right from Bennani both land. Nice combination. Wallace misses with a double jab
and Bennani moves into the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bennani misses with a hook from the clinch. Bennani has Wallace pressed against the cage, preventing Wallace from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Wallace tries to pull guard but Bennani won't allow it.
Wallace fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bennani pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bennani swats away the attempt to clinch by Wallace . Bennani looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bennani's coach down at Paris & Sons Training Yard was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bennani's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Wallace is looking to clinch but Bennani is avoiding it.
Wallace takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Youssef Bennani is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bennani looks for a takedown but Wallace sprawls well. Bennani cracks Wallace with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wallace swings widly with a right hand
and Bennani counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bennani stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bennani wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Wallace . That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace misses with a combination
and Bennani counters with a lovely straight right hand! Good shot there by Bennani. Wallace throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bennani tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wallace is in Bennani's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bennani is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wallace is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bennani lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bennani content to stall in guard here. Bennani is looking to stand up but Wallace won't let him. Bennani engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bennani stands up from guard. Let's bang!

and Bennani counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wallace misses with a double jab
and Bennani counters with a left to the body. Bennani lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bennani.
Wallace is rocked! Matt Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bennani plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Wallace swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Wallace face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
