Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lomi Nuar (ranked 24454 p4p, 3876 weight class) and Neck Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lomi Nuar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Neck Lock! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lock enables Nuar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lock manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Lock tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nuar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lock is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

It looks like Lock might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lock with shots to the head and body - Nuar looks very uncomfortable down there. Lock controlling from the full mount. Nuar holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lock tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Neck Lock dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lock throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Nuar is pushing Lock's head away, looking to escape. Lock manages to hold on to the position though. The referee asks Lock politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lock prefers to stall for the moment though. Let's hope that Lock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lock throws an elbow but Nuar slips to the side and avoids it well. Lock taking a breather here. Lock prevents Nuar from escaping the position. Neck Lock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! A jab from Nuar misses. Nuar is looking to clinch. Lock has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A good leg kick by Lock. Nuar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lock is stalling in the full guard. Neck Lock has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nuar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lock stands and throws Nuar's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lock taking a breather here.

He has the arm isolated but Nuar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Nuar is being controlled here. Nuar defending against the ground and pound. Nuar sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nuar keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Lomi Nuar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Neck Lock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lock keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Lock passes to side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nuar is letting Lock control him for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lock's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Nuar wants to get back to his feet but Lock drags him back down. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lock controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nuar gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Lock controlling the position easily from mount. Nuar is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Neck Lock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Neck Lock! Neck Lock decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
