Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stipe Velasquez (ranked 21869 p4p, 1902 weight class) and Igor Shevchenko (ranked 543 p4p, 211 weight class). Velasquez comes into the arena with Gaining Momentum by MC Hammer blaring out of the sound system. Shevchenko has chosen Mouth For War - Pantera as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Igor Shevchenko acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Velasquez misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Shevchenko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Shevchenko tries to move into range but Velasquez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Velasquez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Shevchenko connects with an inside leg kick.
Velasquez looks to score with a jab to the body but Shevchenko is just out of range.

Velasquez scores with a hook to the body. Shevchenko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Velasquez throws a right and a left that Shevchenko avoids nicely.
Velasquez lands with an overhand left.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shevchenko connects with a right that clearly hurt Velasquez. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Shevchenko proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Velasquez collapses and taps out under the pressure!

A less than humble Igor Shevchenko misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
