Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Barnes (ranked 3394 p4p, 2408 weight class) and Myke Bonner (ranked 338 p4p, 258 weight class). Bonner has chosen Robert Tepper - Theres No Easy Way Out as his entrance music. Myke Bonner is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Bonner throws a shot from downtown. Barnes moves away and avoids it.
Barnes misses with a straight right.
We've been told by Barnes's head coaches at Qube MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bonner dodges the punch combination from Barnes.
A little jabbing left from Bonner on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Barnes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Barnes swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Bonner counters with a lovely shot to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Steve Barnes has been cut.
Barnes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bonner.
Bonner pounces like a tiger and cracks Barnes with a vicious hook! Barnes is down but not out! Bonner follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Myke Bonner spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
