Rico blocks a head kick by Rodgers.
Rodgers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rico has time to react.
Rodgers waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rico.

Oooooh!!! Rodgers has knocked Rico down with a huge combo! Rodgers steps away and waves a wobbly Rico back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rico throws a series of punches but Rodgers avoids them all with ease.

Rodgers lands a left and a right that send Rico crashing to the mat, dazed. Rodgers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rodgers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rico manages to avoid it.
King Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodgers swats away the attempt to clinch by Rico.
Rico throws a lazy uppercut
and Rodgers counters with a stiff right hand.
Rodgers takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rodgers misses the jab.
Rico shoots in for a takedown but Rodgers shows good takedown defense.
Rodgers scores with a leg kick.
Rico lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That kick from Rodgers tenderised Rico's leg. Rico is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rico throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodgers's waist but Rodgers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rico off to one side.
A counter left hand to the body from Rodgers misses its target.
Anthony Rodgers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Rico.
Rodgers tries to land a leg kick but Rico saw it coming and moves away.

Rico tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rodgers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rico shoots in for a double leg but Rodgers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rodgers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Rodgers scores with a counter punch that sends Rico to the canvas! Rodgers smells blood - he's punishing Rico with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rico has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
