A good leg kick by Taamu.
Taamu throws a nice outside leg kick.
A left and a right from Taamu both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Casper Hardin has been cut.
Taamu throws a head kick that misses
and Hardin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taamu won't be happy with that.
Taamu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Taamu regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hardin wants to control from the top but Taamu keeps moving.

Hardin shoots in for a takedown but Taamu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Taamu pushes Hardin up against the cage in a clinch.
Hardin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Taamu prevents it.

Taamu lands with a light punch inside.

I was talking to Taamu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tua Taamu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casper Hardin.
Taamu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hardin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hardin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Both fighters circling a little - Taamu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Hardin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Taamu throws a head kick that half lands.
Hardin is rocked!

Taamu lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hardin falls backwards - clearly groggy! Taamu dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tua Taamu!
A victorious Tua Taamu thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
In defeat, Casper Hardin stepped up to the mic, saying 'So this is what it feels like to lose? Fuck this, I'll stick to winning!'.
