Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Malam Sambu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and David Hoff.

Sambu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Okafor tries to avoid it but Sambu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Okafor to the ground. Okafor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Okafor throwing a counter right hand but Sambu manages to avoid it.
Okafor lands a jab to Sambu's midsection.
Sambu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sambu looks up at the clock. Bad move! Okafor lands a right hand from hell, dropping Sambu. Okafor pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Okafor!
During a confident post fight interview, Mike Okafor thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
